Infinity Blue is a circular colour system to recover synthetic indigo from denim waste.

Using a natural process that is free of harsh chemicals, it transforms waste denim into a sustainable source of indigo.

By sourcing colour from waste, Infinity Blue challenges us to see the value in what we discard and envision a future where colour is shared and endlessly reusable.

Infinity Blue can be applied as a dye, print as well as denim finishing, naturally bleaching denim while recovering indigo pigment.

Blackhorse Lane Ateliers

In collaboration with Blackhorse Lane Ateliers, London's only selvedge denim maker, a pair of jeans were printed with the indigo extracted from 50g of their denim offcuts - showcasing the circular potential of indigo colour recovery.

Infinity Blue is created by Emily Gubbay, a designer exploring colour through circular systems. Her work focuses on creating low-impact colour solutions to drive positive change within the design industry. Through a collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach, she rethinks how colour is sourced, made, and applied for a more sustainable design future.Reach out to [email protected] to collaborate!Exhibitions:
